How Does Liftmaster MyQ and Amazon Key Work?
Homeowners must have the MyQ feature set up on their garage door opener as well as the Key by Amazon app, which takes minutes, and does not require any additional fees. When ordering through Amazon select “in garage delivery”.
The day the package is delivered, you will see four notifications come through:
- The package is en route
- The driver arrives
- The garage door has been opened
- The garage door has been closed and the delivery is complete
To provide even more peace of mind, several safety precautions are taken. First of all, Amazon drivers must undergo a background check. They ensure they are at the correct home for package delivery with an encrypted authentication process. The driver is instructed not to leave the home until the garage door completely closes and is secure. In addition, you can monitor all activity on your MyQ app or in realtime on optional camera accessories sold separately.
